Overlooking the lake of Fateh Sagar Pratap Memorial is situated on the hill top of Moti Margi or the Pearl Hill. This monument is a memorial of Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap a local hero. A life – sized statue of Maharana Pratap is made of bronze. Balancing on his famous best and loyal horse – Chetak this statue is admired for its beauty. Local people visit this place to pay homage to not just the Rajput hero but also his loyal horse.
City Palace is exquisitely known as a romantic structure. This monument towers over a lake on the top of a hill. It is surrounded by the beautiful walls. The courtyards, terraces, pavilions, rooms and the lush green gardens take a very large area. This is seriously a magnanimous series of palaces that were built by Maharana Udai Singh.
The main attraction is its entrance that is a triple arched gate that was built in 1725 with the eight marble porticos. From the balconies the tourists get a mesmerizing view of floating palace or the Lake Palace.
Jag Niwas on the romantic Lake of Pichola, Mor – chowk or the peacock courtyard is a lifetime visit. The beautiful peacock mosaics of glass that the walls are decorated with charm the tourists instantly. The palace is decked with antiques and paintings, different decorative artifacts, furnishings etc.
This picturesque lake with hills and palaces, temples and Havelis, bathing ghats and the embankments is highlight of Udaipur. On this lake are two floating islands Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir. They can be easily reached with boat. This lake is known to produce most beautiful and magical reflections of the surrounding buildings. The atmosphere that is build by the stillness of this lake is calming and soothing.

Held during March or April this festival is to celebrate the pompous arrival of spring season. The entire local market is decorated and illuminated. Women dress brightly and participate in dance and various cultural events.
Held during November or December this fair is to promote the crafts and arts of Rajasthan. Camel leather items, hand woven clothes, handicrafts and mirror works grab the tourist attention
